Corey Pajka received B.A.s in Theatre Arts and English from Wilkes University. His plays include Long Distance Drunk (Maned Wolf Productions and Distilled Theatre Company), Hotel Sterling (Bread and Roses) Fahrenheit IS-51 (Exit 7 Players), Valid I.D., (The University of Houston), Visible Cosmic Entities (HartBeat Ensemble Theatre and NuBox Theatre), and Brief Encounters of the Third Kind (Gallery Players). His screenplay adaptation of Long Distance Drunk was a second round finisher in the Drama Feature category at the 2024 Austin Film Festival Script Competition. His play Flatlands, PA was a second round finisher at the 2020 Austin Film Festival Script Competition in the Stage Play category.
His satirical articles have been published through Points In Case, Funny Times, The Weekly Humorist, The Offing, and others. His work has made the year-end best of lists for both The Weekly Humorist and The Gorko Gazette.
Corey wrote the book for the children's theatre musical Animaloopidy (based on music and lyrics by T.O. Sterrett, Weathervane Theatre). He is the author of the radio plays The Separation, Meddling Kids, The Stand In, The (Drunk) Call of Cthulhu, My Violet Brooklyn, and others, all of which are available for download and streaming on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and other platforms. He was previously the co-editor for the bi-weekly newsletter of 350Brooklyn, an organization that combats the climate crisis by pushing for renewable energy and a sustainable environment through grassroots civic action.
